Arizona History Adventure
Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Sharlot Hall Museum - 415 W. Gurley St., Prescott
"Sewing for the Family" is the theme for this month's educational adventure featuring a cast of Living History interpreters in period outfits.
While there was ready to wear clothing available on the frontier, most families bought only what they absolutely had to, such as shoes, socks and some men's clothing, and made the rest at home, either by hand or with a sewing machine if they were fortunate. Included with Museum admission.
