Prescott Crush: 99 Bottles of Wine at the Hall

Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Sharlot Hall Museum, 415 W. Gurley St., Prescott

Attention all wine lovers! Sharlot Hall Museum and Eagle Management and Events, LLC are pleased to announce Prescott Crush: 99 Bottles of Wine at the Hall, a wine-tasting fundraiser to benefit the Museum. This newest event is set to take place on Saturday, June 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. on the beautiful Museum grounds. The rose gardens and historical monuments will provide the perfect backdrop worthy of the food and fine wines being served.

True to its name, Prescottâs largest wine festival of the year will feature no less than 99 different wines from major distributors from around the state. Local, regional and national wines will be featured. Action Wines, Alacantara, Oak Creek, Pillsbury, Youngâs Market and many others have contributed their fine labels to make this event one of the tastiest in town. Delicious wines will not be the only libations on hand; Hensley Beverage Company will also be offering two hand-crafted beers, and bottled water will be provided for teetotalers or those wishing to cleanse the palate between tastings.

Food is also on this delectable menu, with appetizers being served by Dizzyâs Deli and Goodie Shop, Papa Johnâs Pizza and Prescott Lobster and Seafood Company. Come sample smoked salmon, flat bread pizza, lobster bisque and crab cakes from these fine food vendors.

Musical guests Kenny James and Tracy Cripps will be on hand to set the party mood for the occasion. Prescott Crush will mark Crippsâ last performance before she moves to Phoenix, so look for surprise appearances by other local musicians as well.

No reservations are required; tickets will be on sale at the gate (please have your i.d. ready). The cost is $20 for ten samples or $10 for four samples, with proceeds going to the Museum. The first 200 guests will also receive a commemorative wine goblet. For the safety of yourself and others, only service dogs are permitted on the Museum grounds.

Funding from this event will assist the Museum with many projects emphasizing Prescottâs and Yavapai Countyâs upcoming 150th anniversaries. This includes the building of the new Sharlotâs Depot to house the Museumâs wonderful Porter Steam Engine that was used at the Congress Mine. Come sip, savor and support Sharlot Hall Museum for our 85th anniversary and help us kick off the coming Prescott Rodeo!
