Arizona History Adventure: Putting Up the Bounty
Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Sharlot Hall Museum, 415 W. Gurley St.
If you had a successful garden in frontier Arizona, then there was extra to preserve for winter ahead. With anything canned costing $1 or more at the local mercantile, keeping what you grew was very important. Come see how pioneers prepared their food stores for winter at this program, sponsored in part by a grant from the Arizona Humanities Council. This event is included with your admission to the Museum.
