On the Agenda: City Council Study Session October 6, 2009

At their Tuesday October 6th study session, Prescott City Council will discuss a provision for an IGA (intergovernmental agreement) with ADOT (Arizona Department of Transportation) re: $1 million for the 89/89a interchange project. They will also consider an amendment to the contract for engineering and post-design services.

Additional Study Session Highlights

—Purchase and installation of an Automated License Plate Reader and software from PIPS Technology.

—Installation of emergency vehicle equipment to six new police cars.

—Addition of Dewey-Humboldt to the boundary of the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization.

—Special use permit for the replacement of a cell tower at 218 E. Willis Street.

Following the study session, council will adjourn into executive session. They will hear legal advice regarding the contract between Asphalt Paving & Supply and Granite Dells Estates Properties for the construction of the interchange.

Also during the executive session: council will consider legal advice regarding a grant easement for the city's 18-inch Chino Valley-to-Prescott water transmission line in the West Airport area.

**Prescott City Council meetings are open to the public. They begin at 3 p.m. at City Hall, 201 S. Cortez St. in chambers.
