DEMERSE AVE. FROM WHETSTINE TO MONTEBELLO LANE
Traffic control will be in effect on Demerse Avenue from Whetstine Avenue to Montebello Lane for the purpose of constructing water system improvements, drainage improvements, street reconstruction, and sidewalk improvements.
To allow for construction of the new water system and storm drain construction, traffic on Demerse Avenue is restricted to one lane north bound from Whetstine to Rosser Street. South bound traffic on Demerse is detoured over to Northside Drive from Rosser Street to Whetstine. Full closures are expected intermittently to accomplish the construction. Rosser Street at Demerse Avenue is subject to temporary closures to construct the improvements through the intersection.
With the demolition of the old concrete roadway now complete, the roadway has reverted to a dirt roadway to allow for construction of the underground storm drainage system and new roadway improvements.
Motorists are strongly urged to use alternate routes such as Willow Creek Road, Northside Drive, and Campbell Avenue.
