Dog Owners: Sit, Stay and License Your Pet

City code and State Law requires that all dogs be licensed.
The 2010 City of Prescott dog licenses are now available for purchase at the Yavapai Humane Society, 1605 Sundog Ranch Road/445-2666 and at the following locations:
Mile High Animal Hospital, 1205 White Spar Road/445-4581
Prescott Animal Hospital, 1318 Iron Springs Road/445-2190
Granite Mountain Veterinary Hospital, 3073 Willow Creek Road/771-1340
Animal Care Clinic, 803 East Sheldon Street/445-5442
Circle L Animal Hospital, Chino Valley/636-4421
Chino Valley Animal Hospital, Chino Valley/636-4382
High Country Pet Clinic, Prescott Valley/772-9292
Prescott City Hall, 201 South Cortez Street/777-1100
Prescott Police Department, 222 South Marina Street/778-1444
Cost of a dog license is $6.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and puppies less than one year old. Dogs not spayed or neutered are $30.00.
City of Prescott licenses run on a calendar year basis and need to be renewed yearly. Owners must furnish proof of spay/neuter (unless previously licensed) and a current rabies vaccination good through October 1st.
