Firefighters Raise Funds, Awareness for Children's Burn Camp

The City of Prescott firefighters will conduct fundraising activities to benefit "Camp Courage", AZ Children's Burn Camp. The camp is held at Pine Summit in Prescott and runs June 13th - June 20th and provides approximately one-hundred children with an opportunity to escape from the every day challenges of living as a burn survivor.
"We will be conducting two fundraisers this year," said Captain Dan Hutchison. "The first is "Burn Camp Cantina" on June 9th at the Gurley St. Grill. The fun starts at 4 pm with fantastic raffle prizes, food and drink specials. Plus, there's dancing under the stars to the live music of "Filabusta."
The second event, said Hutchison, is the 16th annual "Burn Camp Open" golf tournament held June 19th at Antelope Hills Golf Course. The action kicks off with an 8 am shotgun start.
