Sergeant Georgia Davies retires

After 27 years of service to the City of Prescott Police Department, Sergeant Georgia Davies has retired.

She started her career with Prescott in 1986 as a police dispatcher, and worked in this capacity until 1989 went she attended the academy in Tucson to become a Police Officer. During her career, Davies served as: Field Training Officer, Recruit Training Officer at the Academy, Driving Instructor, General Instructor, Patrol Sergeant, Training and Recruiting Sergeant, Interim Director of the Prescott Regional Communications Center, Acting Lieutenant, and Community Services Sergeant. She will be working for the Yavapai College Police Department in a civilian capacity.

She represents the high caliber professionals serving our city and will be greatly missed. The City of Prescott wishes her well.
