Station #71 was built in 1990,cost $ 800,000. Response area 9sq. miles. Response area includes; City of Prescott, Prescott National Forest, Hwy 89, and rural areas surrounding city. Station 71 houses a Type III, US Forest Service Engine with 4-7 personnel.
A portion of the station is set up with historical memorabilia, photos, alarm systems, trophies etc. The public is welcome to visit the station and see firsthand all of the old and new fire department memorabilia.
