Senior Olympics
The City of Prescott Parks and Recreation Department and the Prescott Senior Olympic Games Steering Committee are pleased to present the 2008 Prescott Senior Olympic Summer Games, to be held throughout the Tri-Cities area August 8 through August 24, 2008.
Today's seniors are more active and energetic than ever before. Individuals 50 years of age and up are now more inclined to participate in organized activities. Many feel as though Senior Olympics provide them with a true sense of accomplishment, whether they finish 1st or last. They enjoy the social interactions involved. They welcome the friendly competition. Today's seniors understand the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle. Joining the Senior Olympic games is an excellent way to either begin, maintain, or enhance one's physical and mental well being.
The "Games" are conducted to honor and recognize those 50 years "Young at Heart". By participating, you inspire others to join in the fun.
